What we have done!

So far we have not given a public concert, initially choosing to meet just for the pleasure of singing together as well as exploring as much new music as we can get our hands on to build up a suitable repertoire for a concert.

We had one "Social" where we met in the summer of 2009 to have a barbecue, drink a lot of wine and sing. We selected two pieces each and with ten singers that meant twenty pieces. We had had a wonderful time too. Here are some pictures. Eating and drinking on the left, singing on the right.

Since then we have arranged other social evenings at Christmas which gives us a chance to sing all types of Christmas music with a glass of wine to help things along!

Our first commision - the WORLD PREMIER of the Chorale - was on Sunday 15th November 2010.

On May 23rd 2013 we went to St Michael's church in Amersham and ran an "Audience-Free" concert.

Basically we had rehearsed about 20 pieces which we wanted to sing in St. Michael's wonderful acoustic and so were treating the evening almost as a concert - or at least trying to bring the music to concert standard.

In the event some relatives and friends wanted to came along to see what we got up to on a Thursday, so we had a bit of an audience after all. The whole thing was recorded too, and you can listen to some tracks if you click on the "LISTEN" button on the menu on the left.
